Sales Specialist, Client Services
About JECT
JECT is a medical aesthetics brand specializing in cosmetic injectables and medical-grade skincare. We offer a curated menu of services in a warm and inviting environment with safety and results as our utmost priority. Our mission is to make these services accessible and mainstream. JECT has locations in New York, Florida, California, and New Jersey with additional locations in the works.
Description
JECT is looking for a Sales Specialist to own the new-client journey from first contact to return visit. You'll respond to inbound leads, guide consultative conversations that uncover what each client is looking for, book the appointment, and follow through so a first visit becomes a lasting relationship. As a member of the Client Services team, you'll also handle inbound client communication and share schedule coverage with the CS team. This is a sales role, measured by sales results, with a hospitality soul.
JECT's Core Values
Specialized: JECT sets the industry standard for medical aesthetics. Our providers are all board-certified medical professionals that specialize in aesthetics, with extensive professional experience. All providers complete JECT Academy, an innovative and rigorous aesthetics training program that encompasses all relevant aspects of the field.
Personalized: JECT consistently goes above and beyond to provide our patients with a personalized experience and unparalleled results. We specialize in full face consultations that consider a holistic and multifaceted treatment approach. Our priority is development of individualized treatment plans reflective of our expertise and our client's aesthetic goals.
Welcoming: At JECT, we pride ourselves on approachability and providing our patients comfort and ease throughout the entirety of their experience. We get to know our clients on a personal level and take the time to discuss their goals, questions, and concerns. The JECT environment feels warm and inviting, while also conveying to the client that they're in the best of hands.
Collaborative: As one of the fastest-growing aesthetics businesses in the industry, our team is made up of the best and the brightest. We build upon our collective knowledge to ensure patient safety and the best results for our clients. We uplift one another and cultivate a supportive environment that encourages growth on both the individual and company level.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Conversion — The Core of the Role
- Speed to lead. Accountable for the response rate and response time on all inbound leads across text, phone, email, and web form.
- Pipeline ownership. Accountable for pipeline integrity in HubSpot, moving every lead deliberately through each pipeline stage. The pipeline is always current and always accurate.
- Outreach strategy. Accountable for designing and running the follow-up strategy for leads that don't convert on first contact, including sequencing, messaging, and channel, and for revising it with the Director of Client Services based on performance.
- Reactivation. Accountable for structured re-engagement of aged and closed-lost leads, and of segments matched to active promotions. This is a pipeline of several hundred new inquiries a month plus a substantial back catalog.
- Consultation and conversion. Accountable for converting qualified leads into booked appointments through consultative conversation, including treatment and provider recommendations, pricing discussions, and objection handling.
- Booking retention. Accountable for the booked-to-completed rate, including recovery of cancellations and no-shows.
- Reporting and analysis. Accountable for weekly reporting on pipeline performance, and for working with the Director of Client Services to diagnose where the funnel is underperforming and recommend changes.
Client Services & Hospitality
- Handle inbound calls, texts, and emails from existing clients alongside the Client Services team, including scheduling, rescheduling, questions, and service recovery.
- Look for the opportunity inside every service conversation: the client who should be on a membership, the client overdue for a treatment, the client who mentioned a friend.
- Resolve issues with judgment and warmth, escalating appropriately and documenting accurately in Zenoti and HubSpot.
- Maintain a high standard of hospitality in every interaction. Clients should feel known, not processed.
Team & Standards
- Model the sales-forward approach for the Client Services team and share what's converting.
- Partner with Practice Managers, providers, and Marketing on lead flow, promotions, and campaign follow-through.
- Contribute to scripts, objection handling, and outreach templates as the program evolves.
Qualifications / Skills
- 3+ years in a sales, patient coordination, membership, or consultative selling role; medical aesthetics, luxury retail, hospitality, fitness, or wellness experience preferred.
- Motivated by conversion, not only by being helpful.
- Builds their own approach rather than working a task list, and can explain why it works.
- Genuinely comfortable asking for the appointment, discussing price, and following up more than once without being pushy.
- Excellent written communication. Much of this role happens over text, and tone is everything.
- Organized and self-directed in a remote environment.
- Comfortable in a CRM. Experience with HubSpot and Zenoti (or similar booking software) is a strong plus.
- Discreet, warm, and confident serving an elevated clientele.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
Benefits & Perks
We invest in our team with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, your future, and your life outside of work:
- Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance
- Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
- Wellhub membership (fitness, wellness, and mindfulness access)
